Phillip (Phil) Fernberg is a landscape designer, educator, philomath, and Ph.D. Student based in Logan, Utah. He has worked, lived, or traveled in over 45 countries, and has broad-ranging professional experience.
Phil grew up playing on the beaches of southern California and later worked as an entertainer aboard Princess cruise ships (he even got to work on the original Love Boat!). This constant engagement with marine environments instilled a reverence for the vastness and complexity of God’s creations and in turn a commitment to care for them.
When he’s not working or studying, you can find Phil chasing around his tireless toddlers in any sliver of public green space he can find, or occasionally trekking back to his home state for a surf.
