Smith, his successors as President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have all indicated they were in harmony with his teachings. No written record has indicated any opposition in any way, and indeed, Presidents David O. McKay, Joseph Fielding Smith, and Spencer W. Kimball have repeated his concerns for animal life."
